Weather-Related Closure

 If the university campus closes due to inclement weather, the UM Libraries will also close. If it snows on a weekday, call 301-405-1000, 301-405-SNOW, tune into Terp Radio (1640 AM), or local radio and TV stations starting at 6 AM to check for campus closing information. If no information is given about campus closings or delayed openings, assume the Libraries are open.

 If campus closes due to inclement weather during the evening or on the weekend after library facilities have opened, the library staff will be notified and will close the Libraries. All facilities will also post signage on doors indicating the time and date and that the University is closing due to a snow emergency.

 If campus closes due to inclement weather before library facilities have opened, the Libraries will be closed.
