Office of the DeanIntroductionThe Dean's Office Web pages focus on the Libraries' executive administrative unit and will provide you with basic information about our staff and operations, as well as a broad understanding of the overall mission of the University Libraries. We hope that the links provided will give you an understanding of the internal organization of the UM Libraries and the relationship with the rest of the campus, the University System of Maryland, and the external library consortia in which we participate. The key role of the Dean and staff is to provide the central administrative and leadership functions for the University Libraries in fulfilling its mission.
