GIS Workshop. Intermediate Applications Using ArcGIS Desktop 9.2 |
This workshop will begin by discussing some of the analytical tools within ArcToolbox and focus on vector data creation and manipulation. Following the introduction, workshop participants can choose tutorials to review at their own pace during class time. Registration is required. Prerequisite: Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Excel; Introduction I to ArcGIS Desktop 9.2 or familiarity with ArcGIS 9.X
Tutorials include: Creating New Shapefiles; Geoprocessing through ArcToolbox; and Hotspot Analysis.

This workshop will begin by introducing some basics of adding tabular data to ArcGIS Desktop 9.2. Following the introduction, workshop participants can choose tutorials to review at their own pace during class time. Registration is required. Prerequisite: Familiarity with Microsoft Windows.
Tutorials include: Working with Census 2000 Data; Adding, Editing, Joining, and Relating Tables; Geocoding; and Mapping Locations by (X,Y) Coordinates.
