Managing Web Directories and Pages

Get access to an existing Web directory (i.e. /UES/) Request a WebSpinner directory
Create a new Web directory You can create your own subdirectories using WebSpinner if you already have access to the parent directory. If you don't have access, use the form: Request a WebSpinner directory
Restore a page you accidentally deleted Email webservices@itd.umd.edu. If this is an emergency, call the ITD Help Desk at x59188
Check for broken links & see who links to your pages See Link Checking

Troubleshooting

Troubleshoot your HTML Send specific questions to webservices@itd.umd.edu
Accidental deletion of a page Email webservices@itd.umd.edu. If this is an emergency, call the ITD Help Desk at x59188.
WebSpinner problems Email webservices@itd.umd.edu.
Emergencies (e.g. the Libraries’ site is down) Call the ITD Help Desk at x59188.

Adding particular types of content to the Web site

Changing content on a Web page you do NOT maintain

Report mistakes Use the "Send us your comments" link in the footer of that Web page to contact the responsible party.
Add content to someone else's page
