Collection Strategies and Services
As curator of the Mass Media & Culture archives in Special Collections, I am responsible for managing, preserving and improving access to archival collections related to broadcast history. I assist researchers from all over the world remotely and in person, design and implement AV digitization projects, create and contribute to broadcast-related digital humanities projects, give instruction and tours to visiting groups, and engage in outreach and promotional activities with partner organizations. With my M.A. and Ph.D. in ethnomusicology, I am also a lecturer in the School of Music, and host "The Bohemian Challenge" every Thursday on campus radio station WMUC.
