I am the liaison librarian for faculty, staff, and students in Journalism and Communication. I also support instructors across UMD with using and creating affordable and open educational resources (OER).

My approach centers critical librarianship and information literacies. My current research interests include open and alternative scholarly communications, media format preferences, and user experience (UX). Beyond UMD, I am a consultant with The Pedagogy Lab. I have a Master's in Library & Information Science (MLIS) from St. Catherine University and a B.A. in Sociology/Anthropology and Spanish & Hispanic Studies from Earlham College.
