Jim Miller

I retired in 2012 after 40 years at UMD Libraries, 32 of them as Reference Librarian in EPSL. I have been the College Park Patent & Trademark Resource Center (PTRC) Rep since 1998, and now work 10 hours per week to continue Patent & Trademark search assistance. I get regular training from the US Patent & Trademark Office and keep up with updates and webinars from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the European Patent Office (EPO) and other offices. I attend Patent Information Users Group (PIUG) events. I help UMD affiliates and outside patrons navigate patent and trademark databases.
